I had been looking for a long time for a shoe that my wife called the "unicorn shoe" she told me it didn't exist. She was wrong.I wanted a shoe I could wear around town in casual wear that would look good (like allbirds or vessis) and that could also be waterproof, and that could also hit the trails. I looked for a long time at vessi's but the traction/tread on them is basically nothing, like it's completely flat. So wanted something that would perform on the trails, as well as concreteThese shoes were exactly what I was looking for, they look great, super waterproof, great traction, and decently comfortable.Love them, very happy, and get compliments on the all the time. Some cons- they are pretty uncomfortable in their stock configuration, very little cushion at all. I added a set of insoles that have more arch support, still get a little uncomfortable if I'm standing all day.Ultimately it's totally worth it to me as I care more about the looks, and performance of waterproof-ness I am fine that they are not my most comfortable shoes. They are a little warmer than my non waterproof shoes, but it's not been ever that big a deal for me, even living in Texas and wearing them in 100+ degree weather.Love these shoes, ended up getting them in a wearhouse deal for $50 even better!
