Everything about these shoes was great except for the fact that they were advertised as waterproof. Folks, I work at an aquarium…these are NOT waterproof. You’ve been warned.I'm a delivery driver and go through a lot of shoes. Because I work in all types of weather(never snow though since I'm in New Orleans) I need shoes that can hold up in the rain and give me lots of grip and support. I deliver beer in New Orleans and I use to go in lots of kitchens and use to wear tennis shoes because I walk a ton. But those shoes glide on kitchen floors, so then I turned to "slip resistant" shoes which are basically tennis shoes with a thin layer of slip resistant rubber glued to a regular sole so they didn't last either. To make less trips I put a lot of beer on my hand truck even in slippery conditions, so at a certain account I deliver to I just kept feeling like I would fall. I decided maybe I'll get hiking shoes, THESE SHOES ARE AMAZING. I don't slip at all and they seem to repel all water. In 4/5 years these are like my 8th or 10th pair of shoes and I plan on buying more as long as they are available.Overall, shoes had the typical keen quality you'd expect. Fit well, where very comfortable, and waterproof feature works great. If you intend to use this shoe for hiking or general outdoors, it is probably great. My review specifically applies to use as a disc golfing shoe, as keens have become a popular brand for the sport.I believe other iterations of the keen hiking shoe that do not have mesh sides will hold up much better for the activity. As it stands, the mesh siding of this shoe tore after a few walks through brush on my local course and continued to wear an even bigger hole as the month went on. Overall did not hold up well for disc golf.Shoes arrived early and in great shape.I put these shoes on just to walk around the house and have already fallen in love with the fit and comfort that these Keens provide. I work outdoors doing exterior remodeling Sonim on my feet constantly bending over and moving in every direction a shoe can be moved in. I have went through so many different pairs of shoes looking for the right one. And I can finally say (as of now) I think I found it!Follow up review in a month. Will see how they hold Up?Love my shoes. Super comfortable! Stylish and well built. My only minor complaint is I wish the shoe strings were a little longer. I have to double knot my shoes strings. That’s not happening with these strings. Otherwise, they are a great shoe.Used for walking and general use. Keens are wider than normal, which I like - I didn't have to order an extra wide size. For activeOrdered a size 9 and fit perfectly . Agree with another reviewer that it might take a while to break in as they do feel quite stiff which is to do with the make rather than size. Have used them in the snow / slush conditions and held up fine with the waterproof . Really happy with them .I had purchased another colour and it was very comfortable. However, this pair is not as comfortable and may take some time to break in. It is great for long walks but strangely, less comfortable when standing for long periods.Good grippy soles and fits well but the glue on the material started to come away almost immediately. Surprisingly poor build quality.Took. while to settle in, and pretty narrow for a keen shoeso good I bought another 2 pairs
