I struggled with the sizing of this shoe as had read conflicting reviews about how it fit. I am always between a 6 and 6.5 in shoes, depending on brand. Based on comments that it ran large, I ordered the 6 and it was too small. Now have the 6.5 and it fits really well. I do like to wear thick socks when I hike (Therlo) so if you don't wear thick socks they might run big. Only other comment on sizing is that the toe box does seem to run narrow. Not an issue for me but if you have a wider toe area they might not be ideal. They are sturdy but still pretty comfortable and attractive. Have only worn them around the neighborhood so not sure yet how they will perform on rocky terrain but the grip seems strong.
