This will be my sixth pair that I've owned. My first pair I bought in '07. I do very heavy use from snow sand outdoor adventures and they seem to hold there form and comfort compared to others. The fit was a bit snug. Probably best to order half to a whole size larger. Also, consider thickness of socks you would be wearing with this boot.I was looking for some boots for day hiking and ordered these because the website suggested they came in narrow widths, which is quite rare or nonexistent. Alas, when I received them they were only sized for length, not width, so I felt deceived. On the other hand, when I put them on they seemed to fit well-enough, if I used my custom orthotic and wore a heavier sock. They may run a bit narrow. Moreover, they were surprisingly comfortable. I like the roomy toebox and the sole is soft and cushiony. I like that it is so light. I like the straight (as opposed to curved) last, appropriate for my flat feet. I like the way the boot laces, as it is easy to pull it tight. I like the look of the 'green' leather, which seems rich and stylish. I found that the laces are too long and will need to be replaced. And I don't think the sole or shoe will last that long. The leather is quite soft and therefore not that supportive for the ankles. Time will tell though. I need to get some miles on them, on all kinds of terrain. This pair was to replace a pair that is just about worn out. The fit seems to be the same but will know more after I have worn them. At this price point I am very pleased.Have always been a fan of HH. Now that I have these I will definitely buy several more pairs. I've been receiving comments on them all day.I bought two pairs together on sale. They get high marks for comfort, style and construction. They are extremly lightweight and comfortable and receive a lot of positive comments. My walk feels very natural in them and I wish I could rate them higher, but I can't. After two months of regular use, the right rear sole on the first pair became very unevenly worn, making it impossible to walk comfortably or correctly. I should note that I use full length corrective inserts, have regular chiropractic adjustments and know how to walk correctly. I've never had this happen with a pair of boots. Since I could not return them, I began wearing the second pair. After 2.5 months of regular wear both the left and right soles are wearing unevenly and will soon render this pair unusable also. I'm very disappointed because otherwise I love them but I need & expect more than 2-3 months from a pair of boots. As to waterproofing, I wore them in the woods on a day of light rain for a two mile hike. Halfway through my feet were very wet. They are marked "waterproof leather" but mine were not. Great for light casual use around town but these will not stand up to more rigorous use or conditions. It is so nice to find a boot in a narrow width. Love the way they fit and so lite weightMe encantaron es una combinación de calidad y estéticaI have had these boots for 9 months now and almost wear them every day ! They are super comfortable whilst still being lightweight and flexible. The waterproofing has been excellent apart from one day where my feet got partially submerged but even then only a a few small patches show water ingress. Realised I should of bought black leather as the suede tops do show the dirt pretty quick.Overall I love these boots and would happily buy another pair when these fall apart.Only small negative I have (and it’s minor) the soles do get slippy when it’s wet and you have to watch out even though they are well worn in now.Just can’t beat Helly Hansen gear !!I've been wearing these HH boots for approximately 8 weeks and have found them comfortable and warm during daily winter walks of around 3 miles. They are light to wear and I have found them to be waterproof when stepping through puddles and walking across wet grass/mud. My main use is on tarmac footpaths and easy-going paths across fields: I would probably use more robust boots for moorland hiking. I found the sizing to be fairly accurate - lightweight socks are a comfortable fit. Overall, I am very pleased with their performance for the day-to-day walking I purchased them for. These boots are really comfortable, and the fit is perfect for me. I'm wearing them a few days a week over last 5 weeks in town and country. They are lethal though. I have never worn a shoe or boot so slippy on slightly damp ground, tarmac and concrete. So much so I will stop wearing until summer. Even in town on damp pavements I have slipped. I had thought the grip might improve with wear, that is not the case so far. I am an athletic, fit guy. Do not buy!Helly Hansen boots are excellent. As a family we have several pairs and they have proved immensely comfortable and extremely hard wearing. These were to have replaced my original dark brown pair which are starting to show some signs of wear (they recently withstood 283 days of almost continuous use and in all weathers - including weeks at minus 20). Sadly Amazon for some reason sent this light tan pair instead of the colour I believed that I had ordered (dark brown). I have returned them today (free of charge of course) and will reorder hoping to get brown this time round. One of the snags of ordering on line.Boots look great, REALLY DISAPPOINTED THAT THE LACES ARE MISSING AND WITHOUT RETURNING THE BOOTS THERE IS NO OPTION TO REPORT THIS. SO NOW I FACE ANOTHER WEEKS WAIT BEFORE I CAN GO BUY A PAIR FROM DECATHLON. WHY CANT I REPORT THIS?. LET DOWN IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT, £110 ON BOOTS AND CANT EVEN SUPPLY THE BLOOMING LACES. I REALLY DON’T EXPECT THE COMPANY TO DO ANYTHING IF THEY SEE THIS, WHY BOTHER EH!
