I had been looking for replacements for my Merrell hiking shoes for 2 years. I tried countless shoes in stores and returned many to Amazon. None fit right. These are better than any I ever bought before. Fit prefectly to size 7 medium. Arch support is perfect, not too much, or little. Waterproof, lightweight, very lightweight, supportive, the best gripping soles I ever had, breathable, and the Smart Laces are almost my favorite part. I can stop for a second to tighten or loosen when i first start walking by bending over, just pulling the looping lace and stick the loop behind the tongue in 2 seconds. NO kneeling to retie. Seems like i can walk safely in anything but ice. I didn't wear them in the extreme cold and snow here. They are seamless so no water leaks, not that i want to mess up my pretty shoes by walking in deep puddles.And they are so cute and cool. I have people stop and ask me about them. I have always bought Merrells until maybe 2 years ago. Things change. I hope these don't. I could walk in them all day. Just love them, can't wait to put them on.Light weight shoes. I love the color, exactly as pictures. Very comfortable and stylish. My new staple for this season!They are easy to put on and tighten. I don’t understand how they can feel durable and lightweight but they do.I bought them for the tread on the bottom and that doesn’t disappoint.My last pair of hiking boots were great but on certain terrain, the grip left a lot to be desired. These are more pricey but definitely worth it!The tongue to the boots don’t actually stay pressed agains your foot even if you tighten them all the ways it is a little annoying but they have great grip and decent support.I bought these for a 2-week cross-country backpack trip and they were amazing. The only thing I'm not sold on would be the lacing mechanism but it worked okay - just a little stiff at times and I hoped it didn't break as I didn't have a replacement. We were in heavy rains and the boots were completely waterproof -- not problems. One blister but expected with a 5-mile 4000ft descent going out quickly due to weather.so far just trying them out they are very comfortable and light and waterproof and good traction except on wet concrete, have to be careful there. I wish shoe manufacturers would take completely into account the needs of non-average sizes. My feet are D width, and altho purchasers suggested these shoes were wide, without knowing exactly how wide they are it's a gamble. I would love if shoes had actual widths assigned to them, even if it's general, like "C-D" or "D-E" so I don't have something shipped across the world to find out it may have been wide for someone but not for me. I hope this shoe will stretch out, I cannot return. But otherwise they are visually a bit daunting (someone commented "astronaut shoes" because I do not wear these in the wilderness but more in the midst of daily life in a bit of a rough terrain so they are quite over the top in appearance but I knew that. I am looking for something to hold my feet firmly and not slip on various terrains and these are good for that. These are more of a B-C width I would say, they pinch my little toes, especially on the right foot. Lacing is easeful, easy to slip in and out of--all good except width. But they do hold foot in place. Color is nice, but could do without all the jazzy writing "CROSS HIKE", don't need to advertize how awesome my shoes are. I am usually an 8.5 so I ordered that but if I wanted to wear thick socks would need a 9, length just fits me. But otherwise thank you, Salomon.Simply amazing. I was skeptical of the price, but I didn’t even have to break them in. I took them to colorado and literally climbed a mountain without any pain in any sorts. I even walked through part of a river and my feet did not get wet at all.Scarponcini bellissimi! Li ho usati per la prima volta oggi per una bella camminata in montagna, fino alla neve. Sono super leggeri e comodi, non mi hanno dato nessun fastidio. Chilometri sulla neve e i piedi sono rimasti asciutti e mi sentivo molto stabile, le scarpe hanno una bella trazione. Di solito uso le Salomon super cross per tutto, la corsa, camminate ecc, inverno, estate perché non mi piacciono i scarponcini classici perché sono troppo ingombrante. Questi no. Sono un cross tra un scarponcino classico e una scarpa da trail per la corsa. Ottimi!Absolut Großartiger Schuh. Er ist so leicht dass man fast glaubt barfuß zu gehen.Die Sohle pickt auf jedem Untergrund, egal ob trockenes Geröll, Matsch am Steilhang, Felsen, Asphalt oder Schnee,…die Sohle ist zuverlässig und schützt vor Rutschpartien.Suis habituée merrell et ne pouvait trouver de modèle MOAB large. Me suis tournée vers Salomon et je vais changer toutes mes autres chaussures de marche et de randonnée.Pointure ok, mais attention de prendre un modèle Wide (W ajouté au nom du modèle en entête), si vous avez le pied large.Passt perfekt.Leichter Schuh, angenehm zu tragen und auch beim ersten Mal Tragen keine Blasen an den Füßen.Al primer día se despegó la cinta que dice goretex de la parte donde dobla el pie naturalmente, no tienen la misma comodidad por dentro que los mismos tenis de la marca que también son cross, desilusionada tenia muchas expectativas porque ya tenía tenis cross bastante cómodos y buenos
