Great support for my fat and flat feet. I've always loved Eccos and these are awesome so far. Will update if this changes 5/12/196/6/19There was a definite break in period. That said they are lovely and I wear them every day for 10,000+ steps. I did get a blister on the back of my ankle at first, though. Not the shoes fault8/11/19The back / heel is wearing through to the inner layers. I'm now going to take them to get repaired by a shoe shop. I still love these shoes but I'm putting them through the paces (I walk at least 12k steps daily, mostly urban). Never had shoes wear out this fast. I expected more durability from Ecco.8/30Sent the shoes back to Ecco on 8/13. They arrived at Ecco since 8/22. I'm wearing my Asics in the meantime that I bought the Eccos to replace. Shoe repair guy wanted $50 to repair them ?.9/4Ecco mothership informed me that my shoes were under warranty and issued me a credit for them. I went ahead and ordered another pair of Eccos; a different model. I've been wearing Eccos for almost two decades and this is the first time something like this has happened. I can't really recommend this particular model and I wouldn't buy it again but I am giving 3 stars for the resolution.I love, and only buy Ecco shoes but the materiel in this pair are cheep as f*.-I should have took a second and double checked before I bought them.-I don't think the fabric for the shoelaces will last longer then 6-9 months I could be wrong. Most products are engineered to fail.-It says size 42 / 8-8.5 the left feels like 42 the right feels like 43.-I have permanent planter fasciitus and my feet only want Ecco's size 42.-My oldest pair of Ecco's is over 6 years.ECCO shoes are well made and usually comfortable, but sizing can be tricky. Don't assume your size based on other ECCOshoes you may own. You have to try them on and if they don't fit exactly right send them back. The only other thing worth mentioning is the shoe could benefit form a little more breathability to reduce heat build up. On a hot day your feet will look forward to when the shoes are removed.I like the design, it feels like it would be a comfortable shoe, it's just too narrow for me. I have wider than average feet however, so take this with a grain of salt, a lot of shoes are too narrow for me. The length / arch / heel etc rest of the fit was fine however.I had struggled recently to find casual walking shoes that didn’t hurt my feet. Merrell, Brooks, and the high end Nike and Addidas were not working. I only wear Ecco dress shoes to work and they’re great, so gave these a try. Excellent shoes and no more foot discomfort!I have a lighter colored version of this same shoe and love it so much, I wanted to get another before they were discontinued. Only wish they had a brown in my size, but it's a very comfortable walking shoe and worth the extra expense for overall durability. The old Terracruise was the best snicker even made. This sole is less flexible, less conformable, with bump in the middle. The upper shell is harder and not as cool as the old one. The colors are disappointing. I used to buy Ecco with my eyes closed and now every new pair is more disappointing than another.Took a few days to settle into them, but now I like them a lot.Sensational, I bought these for a trip to Rome with my son..... I spent 4 days walking from 8am to 10pm.... Amazing..... so comfortable, like walking on air. 20 out of 10. I would recommend these to everyone. I'm a uk size 10.5 and I bought the European 45, perfect fit.Really comfortable, good looking, lightweight walking shoes. However, the sizing is a bit on the long and thin side. I'm normally a UK 10 1/2 and so went for the 45 which is 10.5/11. These are definitely an 11 in length but are only just wide enough.Slightly more narrow fit than other ECCO size 45's I've bought but still fits fine. Very comfortable and a great grip. Look great!Perfect for a gent of my vintageGood looking well made comfortable sho
